Image Format Converter
Convert images between PNG, JPEG, WebP and HEIC entirely in your browser. Drop, paste or pick files — or queue many at once — set JPEG/WebP quality, see the before/after size, and download each result or the whole batch as a ZIP. Your images are processed on your device and never uploaded.

Use cases
Five everyday situations where converting image formats — without uploading anything — saves you time.
-
iPhone HEIC photos to JPEG
Drop a .heic file from your phone, let it decode right in your browser, and download a JPEG that opens on any device — portrait photos keep their correct orientation.
-
PNG logos to JPEG
A platform that rejects transparent images? Convert a PNG logo to JPEG — the transparency is flattened onto a clean white background, with no checkerboard artifacts.
-
40 screenshots to WebP
Drop a whole folder of screenshots at once. Every file gets its own progress bar, and one click packages all 40 converted WebP files into a single ZIP.
-
Shrinking a photo to a target size
Export a photo as WebP at ~80% quality and see exactly how many bytes you saved — the before/after size and savings percentage are measured from the real file.
-
Sensitive images without uploading
A document photo or a client file you must not upload? Everything happens on your device — no upload, no account, no sign-up, no prompt.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. All conversion happens in your browser on your device. Your files are never uploaded or shared — the only things loaded are the app's own scripts and, for HEIC files, the HEIC decoder library.
Why does a HEIC file take longer the first time?
The first HEIC file triggers a one-time load of the HEIC decoder (about 1.5 MB, bundled locally on this site's own domain — no third-party CDN). Your browser caches it, so later files are fast.
Which formats are supported?
PNG, JPEG and WebP convert to each other, and HEIC/HEIF converts to PNG, JPEG and WebP. AVIF, BMP, TIFF and GIF are out of scope.
What happens to transparent PNGs when I convert them to JPEG?
JPEG has no alpha channel, so transparency is flattened onto a white background. Use PNG or WebP output to keep transparency.
Can I convert many files at once?
Yes — queue up to 500 files, watch per-file progress, then download each file individually or package all results into a single ZIP.
