When to Use Lift Logic
Lift Logic turns elevator dispatching into a playable puzzle:
-
Learn route planning
Build intuition for planning a route and prioritising calls by driving a lift that you can actually watch move, instead of abstract exercises.
-
Easy to learn
Everything is driven by hand, so anyone can jump in and understand the building, floors and passengers before trying to beat their time.
-
Optimize for 3 stars
Beat the par time and par energy to earn 3 stars and watch your route get faster and more efficient.
-
Sandbox with Free Play
Take on bigger buildings and more passengers in the campaign levels, then relax into Free Play for an endless, no-pressure round.
-
A classroom warm-up
Use it in the classroom as a quick, visual way to practise sequencing, timing and decision-making under a time limit.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I control the elevator?
- Drive the lift by hand with the Up, Down and Open Doors buttons (or the up/down arrow keys and Space). You can also tap any floor to send the lift straight there, or tap the floor it is on to open its doors.
- What is a good strategy?
- Serve everyone by moving the lift to each floor with waiting people and opening the doors there. Watch the waiting-count on each floor and the passengers riding in the car so you drop them off where they need to be.
- How do I earn 3 stars?
- 1 star means you served everyone. 2 stars also means you finished within the level par time. 3 stars means you finished within par time and within par energy. Energy counts floors moved plus door-open dwell, so open doors only when you need to and cut wasted travel.
- What is Free Play?
- Free Play is a relaxed sandbox: a random building with no par time, no energy target and no stars. You can play it as often as you like, and nothing it does is saved to your progress.
- Is my progress saved?
- Yes. Your stars and unlocked levels are saved automatically in your browser (local storage). Nothing is sent to a server. Use Reset Progress to start over.
