What is Pipe Dash used for?

Here are some common reasons people play Pipe Dash:

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I control the bird?
Use a single input: tap/click the game area, press Space, the Up arrow, or W. Each input makes the bird flap upward once; gravity pulls it down in between. The same input starts the game from the start screen.
How do I score, and how do I lose?
You gain 1 point for every pipe you fly through. You lose when the bird touches a pipe or the ground. If you fly above the top of the play area you are clamped there (not killed), matching the classic flappy feel.
What is Watch Demo mode?
Watch Demo plays the bird for you against the live pipes using a reactive bot. Turn it on with the Watch Demo button or the D key to see the correct timing and confirm the game is fair. Your manual flaps are ignored while it is on.
What do the difficulty modes do?
Easy, Normal, and Hard change the pipe gap size and speed. Easy has the widest gap and slowest speed; Hard has the tightest gap and fastest speed. Your best score is saved separately for each mode.
What happens to my data?
Only your best scores (numbers) per difficulty mode are stored, locally in your browser via localStorage. No account, no network requests for gameplay, and no personal data is collected.
