What is the standard tip percentage?
In most countries, 15-20% is considered standard for good service. Our presets of 15%, 18%, 20%, and 22% cover the most common tipping scenarios.
Should I tip on the pre-tax or post-tax amount?
Either is acceptable. Tipping on the pre-tax amount is technically correct since you're tipping for service, not taxes. Use our pre-tax toggle if you prefer this method.
How does bill splitting work?
