How to Play Word Snake
How to Play
- Choose a difficulty: Easy, Medium, or Hard.
- Press Start to begin. A target word appears in the letter slots.
- Steer the snake onto each letter of the word in order using the arrow keys (or WASD).
- Collect every letter to complete the word, then a new word begins automatically.
Scoring
- Correct letter: +10 points for each correct letter
- Word complete: +50 bonus when you complete a word
- Lives: You have 3 lives. Lose all of them and the game ends.
Difficulty Levels
- Easy
- 3-letter words, walls wrap around, and wrong letters never cost a life. Perfect for first-time readers.
- Medium
- 4-letter words with solid walls. Hitting a wrong letter, a wall, or yourself costs one life.
- Hard
- 5-letter words, faster movement, more distractor letters, solid walls, and penalties for every mistake.
